ACHIEVEMENTS

Patricia M. Mulligan, Esq. has been a practicing attorney since 1991.

The field of Employment & Labor Law is a complex one, with myriad statutes and regulations available to employees who believe themselves aggrieved.

Ms. Mulligan practices in both the Federal and State Courts of New York and is admitted to the Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts, as well as the federal 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition, Ms. Mulligan regularly represents clients before the administrative regulatory bodies charged with enforcing our State’s and Nation’s anti-discrimination statutes.

CREDENTIALS
At the start of her career as an Employment attorney, Ms. Mulligan was the head of the Equal Employment Opportunity Division for the New York City Department of Correction, a uniformed services organization employing in excess of 10,000 employees. In her capacity as Director, Ms. Mulligan investigated in excess of 400 complaints of employment discrimination and was responsible for agency-wide compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local anti-discrimination laws, rules and regulations.

POSITIONS HELD
Patricia M. Mulligan, Esq. has also held distinguished positions on Mayoral and Gubernatorial Boards, including service on a New York City Mayoral Task Force on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace and a Governor’s Round Table on matters of gender discrimination.

Upon entering the private practice of Employment & Labor Law in 1993, Ms. Mulligan was called upon to testify before a Congressional Subcommittee examining the impact of attorney representation on cases pending before the New York State Division of Human Rights.

Over the course of nearly two (2) decades representing employees in the context of employment discrimination and labor law disputes, Patricia M. Mulligan, Esq. had handled hundreds of complaints and continues her advocacy on behalf of New Yorkers who find themselves in need of advice and counsel.
